About El Gouna

El Gouna is the more exclusive area close to Hurghada. The holiday area El Gouna has an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Cozy and pure relaxation and it is safe because it is built up with the long lagoons, lovely sandy beaches and the beautiful corals. In the center you will find the good restaurants and shops and the standard of the hotels is generally high. You can also choose to go on an exciting Jeep safari in the Sahara and feel the adrenaline when you get around the dunes or maybe a boat trip to one of the beautiful Red Sea islands. Egypt's history is of course very impressive and it is also possible with day trips from Hurghada to Luxor or Cairo where there are even more options.


 

Beachlife

Most of the beaches belong to the hotels. The sandy beaches are often artificially landscaped and in several places child-friendly as they are shallow. In some places the corals extend towards the beaches, which is why bathing shoes are recommended in several places.

 

 

Nightlife

In El Gouna, the nightlife is quiet and cozy. Several of the hotels also have their own discos.
